FORMULA 1
A day at the track, Autodromo Nazionale Monza is a motorsport race track near the town of Monza, Italy, north of Milan. It is one of the most historic motor racing circuits in the world.
Italian Moto Grand Prix
The Italian Grand Prix (Gran Premio d'Italia) is one of the longest running events on the motor racing calendar. The Italian Grand Prix was one of the inaugural Formula One championship races in 1950, and has been held every year since then. The only other championship race for which this is true is the British Grand Prix.The Mugello Circuit (Autodromo Internazionale di Mugello) is a race track located in the Mugello region of Italy near Florence. Its length is 5.245 km (3.259 mi), it has 15 turns and a long straight. Grand Prix motorcycle racing host an annual event here (MotoGP and smaller classes). Also, the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters hold an annual event. The track is used for Formula One testing, mainly by Scuderia Ferrari. A1GP has confirmed the first race of the 2008/09 season will be held at the Mugello circuit in Italy on 21 September 2008.
